The Clockmaker of Rainville

A very good friend of mine wrote an awesome collection of short stories titled, Rainville, and I think it’s one of the coolest things in the world.  It’s a marvelously quirky bit of writing about the lives of a couple of young brothers living in a small town where every home is required to have a unique weather vane atop its roof, where the school bully stalks the streets in a dark-windowed school bus , and where the local martial arts school teaches the art of the headbutt.  I could never do it justice in description.  Anyway, I’ve read it a few times and I like to do drawings based on the things I read.  Lately, I’ve taken to playing harmonica songs about the different drawings.  Why not, right?  So here is one of my favorites.  It’s about the Clockmaker of Rainville and it’s the first I’ve used my metronome in a long, long time.  The harmonica I’m playing is a Seydel Blues Soloist Pro in G. I hope you enjoy!
