French Blues in Lithuania

This morning, while searching for something altogether different, I stumbled across a video of a French blues player by the name of Jean Jaque Milteau.  What an awesome discovery!  This guy plays some unbelievable harmonica!  I had to go back and listen to this one two or three times and I’m still smiling from the experience five minutes later.  From his powerful yet articulate first notes, all the way through to his smooth trills and flowing licks, this Frenchman is a technical virtuoso who can really work his way around that tiny tin sandwich of his.  I particularly enjoy how he works his way up the keys one harp at a time and the band transitions flawlessly along with him.  What a fantastic player!  This is the best video I’ve found in quite a while.  Have a listen and enjoy!
