Spontaneous Participation in Art

This has to be my favorite harmonica video of all time.  I was visiting Gibbs Farm in New Zealand when I discovered this giant tensile sculpture by artist Anish Kapoor and was cosmically compelled to play into its echoing maw.

I have been catching Christelle Burthon’s YouTube videos for quite some time now and thought I would post one of her improvisations today in conjunction with my previous post on Bobby McFerrin’s advice on improvisation.  Christelle has perhaps the most
