G.Love

I was skimming some tunes tonight and came across this song by one of my favorite harpists, G. Love.  I first caught the G.Love bug back before I started playing the harmonica.  It wasn’t until much later that I came to appreciate his harp stylings.  Enter exhibit A: Hobo Blues.  G.Love hangs his blues offbeat under the snare cadence like a hat on a hook and whistles us a sweltering little tune that can’t help but to get your head bobbing by the end.  I once set out to learn this whole song, but only managed a half dozen bars before giving to surrender.  Anyway, it’s not exactly a video of a player playing, but what are rules for if not to break?

Enjoy!
