A Dragon Hunter’s Tale

This weekend I ventured, yet again, deep into the bowels of the TTC where I played the tale of Brave Sir Guy (pronounced the French way, like “gee”).  I really enjoy playing songs with such pronounced phrasings.  It gives the song direction.  And I think that if you can control those phrasings to follow the arc of a story, you can give a listener something they can identify with subconsciously.  I don’t know where I picked up the style, but it makes me think of theatre, of church hymns, and of Monty Python.

On a different note, does anyone know a good, low-rent way to get rid of escalator sounds in the background of a recording?  A freeware option, preferably.

Have a listen and enjoy!
