This Drawing Deserves its Own Post

Tonight I came across this drawing that I considered using for an upcoming collection of Harmonica Face pictures (Send me a picture of you playing the harp!) but it was so good that I had to give it its own post.  I love harmonica art and don’t come across it enough.  I also love pen drawings and have a particular affinity for cross-hatching.  There’s something about the maddening repetition that really speaks volumes of the artist’s love for his work.  Anyway, check out this drawing of Charles Bronson playing the harp in Sergio Leone’s movie, Once Upon a Time in the West, drawn by artist, Rik Reimert.  This guy has some serious skills!  He has even published a book of his drawings that looks like it would be a fantastic coffee table book.  Another one to add to the Christmas list!  Bonus: check out his Facebook page to see pictures of his drawings in process.  Enjoy!

  1. Thank you for the coverage and the links!

    • My pleasure, man! Your work is awesome! I have a particular love for pen and ink drawings and crosshatching. If you ever wanted to do another harmonica picture, I’d send you one to draw!
