Bryn Scott-Grimes

Tonight I think I may have discovered other harmonica life in Toronto!  I found a guy named Bryn Scott-Grimes who shot a really cool harmonica video at the Evergreen Brickworks in Toronto.  He’s got some really sharp technical skills, an impressive repertoire of various musical styles outside of blues and rock, and a great sense of composition on the fly.  His music has a life to it that exists only in that moment. Watching a few of his videos, you get a sense of the songs taking flight from his mind through his harp. Everything’s a jam.  And he likes the harmonic minor harps, to boot! I’m glad I discovered this guy tonight.  I really dig his style.  Sit back and enjoy a fantastic composition by a really talented artist!  And then go check out his Youtube page and hear some of the other cool stuff he’s done.
