I know I’ve posted Juzzie Smith before, but nothing says I can’t post him twice. And god knows he deserves another mention for this song I just found today! It’s called Harpbeat, a clever title he expounds on in an equally clever song. Not only is it some good solid rhythm harmonica playing, but he also interweaves a beautiful little poem about how important the harmonica is to him and the good things it brings to his life. This is my new anthem because it’s exactly how I feel about the harp and “playing the music that sets me free.”
