Quebecois Folk Music for the Win

Yesterday I had the great pleasure of discovering a folk trio out of Quebec, Canada called De Temps Antan.  These guys are amazing musicians who hit your ears with a toe-tapping sound that can’t help but bring joy to your heart.  They were (are?) each members of the multi-platinum Quebecois folk powerhouse, La Bottine Souriante and have set out on their own to tour and perform delightfully virtuosic performances for audiences across the globe.  The harmonica player, Pierre-Luc Dupuis, is really skilled at folk playing and if you take a few minutes to look up some of their other work, you will not be disappointed.  Check out this live performance from Montreal in 2011.  The harp playing starts at 1:41, but I recommend sitting back and enjoying the whole video.
